The Courtyard Gallery invites you to Take a Walk on the Wild Side as Susan K. Johnston presents her “Voyaguer Series”, Saturday only September 2, 12:00-5:00.
Her ability to photograph the whimsical as well as contemporary presents a fresh new talent to photography. Susan started to get seriously interested in photography after retiring from General Motors as Director of Process Engineering. She has studied under many accomplished and note photographers and in 2013 Shutterbug magazine published an article about her artwork.
The following week September 9th & 10th
This weekend the Courtyard Gallery presents Natures Artistry, with photographers Barbara Kirby and Rhonda Mullen both Saturday and Sunday 12:00-5:00 both days.
Barbara is a professional photographer. When time permits she likes to travel the back roads in search of the perfect landscape images she may capture in her camera at sunrise or sunset . That one magic moment.
Rhonda, a photographer since childhood, has developed a keen eye for the unusual in nature. Her work continues to captivate countless audiences. She is the creator of “Where’s That Darn Landing Strip”, a 17’long by 5’high photograph on aluminum, featuring 6 Canada geese coming in for a landing. Now exhibit at the Courtyard Gallery. Her travels are far and wide with spectacular shots and images. A real joy to view.
THE NEW WAVE IN PHOTOGRAPHY TODAY IS ALUMINUM.
The advantages today of printing digital fine art photography on aluminum are many.
The colors are extraordinarily vibrant, and images are amazingly clear. The depth
of the finish gives photos a luminous quality that no paper print can achieve. The lookis mind-blowing. These beautiful photos can be shown indoors as well as outdoors.
They are UV protected, scratch resistant, waterproof and this incredible work will last for generations.
